This notice covers browsing hexhub.co.uk and information you give HexHub about enquiries and orders. eBay, social platforms and other providers also have their own privacy notices for processing they control.

Browsing and searching

Google Analytics is optional and stays off until you consent. We do not use advertising trackers. Netlify hosts it and processes technical request information, including IP addresses and requested resources, to deliver and protect the service. Our legitimate interest is running a reliable, secure website.

The search form sends your search words directly to eBay with our shop filter. We do not save a search history in the site's code. Avoid entering personal or sensitive information in the search box. eBay determines how it uses information received by its service.

Enquiries and purchases

If you email or message us, we receive your contact details and whatever you include. We use this to answer you, take steps towards a purchase where requested, or support an existing order. For general enquiries and resolving issues, we rely on our legitimate interests in helping customers and managing our business. For fulfilment, we rely on performing our contract; for required tax and accounting records, we rely on legal obligations.

Orders and payments are placed through eBay. As the seller, we receive the order, buyer and delivery information needed to fulfil purchases and handle support. We do not ask for payment-card details through this website. Provide only the information needed for your enquiry or order.

Who receives information?

Relevant information is processed by our hosting and communications providers and by eBay. Delivery information is shared with the postal or courier service handling the parcel. Information may also be shared where required by law. We do not operate a mailing-list signup or advertising profile on this site.

How long is it kept?

We retain information for the purpose it is needed for: dealing with enquiries, fulfilling orders, handling returns and disputes, and meeting applicable tax and legal record-keeping duties. The relevant duty and any unresolved claim determine how long the record is needed. Contact us to ask about a particular record. Provider-held technical and account records are also subject to the provider's retention arrangements.

Services outside the UK

Providers such as Netlify, eBay and social platforms operate internationally and may process information outside the UK. Their privacy and data-processing information explains their locations and safeguards. Contact us if you need information about a transfer involving your data.

Your rights and complaints

Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal information, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. These rights are subject to legal conditions; some records must be retained. Contact contact@hexhub.co.uk to make a request. You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.

Privacy & cookies

Updated 8 October 2026. HexHub uses Google Analytics 4 (Google) only with your consent, to understand how visitors use this website and improve our store. Rejecting analytics does not affect browsing, searching or buying on eBay.

After you accept, Google receives page visits, technical browser/device information and events when you follow eBay, category, Facebook or TikTok links or submit an eBay search. We do not send your search words, contact details or order information to Google. Page URLs sent by our code exclude query strings and fragments. Advertising personalisation and Google signals are disabled in our website configuration.

We save your accept or reject choice in local storage under hexhub-consent-v1 for 180 days. This essential preference storage is used to remember your choice. Google Analytics cookies _ga and _ga_NFLXS067EV distinguish browsers and sessions; our website sets their lifetime to up to 180 days. Browser settings may shorten this. If storage is blocked, your choice may not be remembered between pages.

Use Cookie settings at any time to change your choice. Switching analytics off stops future collection, removes accessible Google Analytics cookies for this site and reloads the page. Withdrawing consent does not undo processing that already took place. We ask again when your saved preference expires.

Google may process analytics information on servers outside the UK. See Google’s Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from partner sites for its processing and safeguards. Analytics report retention is controlled in our Google Analytics property settings.
